What this call is.

Twenty minutes. Ten for us to understand the business challenge prompting the conversation. Ten for you to ask whatever needs asking.
With a Cavalier principal. Not a salesperson, not a screening call. Every fit call is the same principal who will run the engagement if there is fit.
About fit, not foot-in-door. If we are not the right firm, we will say so on the call and refer you to one we trust. There is no follow-up sequence designed to wear you down.
Confidential. Anything discussed stays between us. We can sign an NDA in advance if the conversation requires it; usually it does not.

What it is not.

Not a free diagnostic. Real diagnostic work — technology assessment, security gap analysis, M&A diligence — is a paid engagement. The fit call is to determine whether such an engagement makes sense, not to give the work away in advance.
Not a sales pitch. We will not walk you through a deck. We will not pretend we can solve a problem we cannot.
Not a quote. Pricing comes in the written proposal — three options, all anchored to documented outcomes — within five business days of the call, only if there is fit.

What to have ready.

A sentence or two on the business challenge prompting the conversation. That is the whole intake. No org chart. No vendor list. No NDA paperwork before the call.

What comes next, if there is fit.

A written proposal within five business days, with three engagement options at three price points, each anchored to a documented outcome.
A second call to walk through the proposal and answer questions.
Contract signature; kickoff scheduling within two weeks; first principal session within two weeks of kickoff.

Plain Disclosure

Cavalier engagements start at $4,500 per month. If that is outside the budget for senior technology leadership at this stage of your business, we are likely not the right fit — and twenty minutes saved is twenty minutes earned.

Specific fees are determined by the outcomes the engagement is built around and presented as three options in the proposal. The conversation we want to have is about outcomes, not hourly rates.
